One of the factors of polishing comes from the backing. A softer backing would normally provide lesser cutting but gives a better finishing while a more rigid backing would generally give more cutting but a poorer finish. It is of personal preference to the user whether he/she wants a softer backing or a rigid one and this Foam Interface gives user that choice.

To be inserted between the backing plate and pad to provide a softer backing. Pair with our Glass Polishing Disc.
